2008 Ribbon Cutting Form

The Clements Lockeford Chamber has conducted many successful ribbon cutting events for businesses of all types and sizes. We assist and guide members with their ceremonies to help ensure well-planned and well attended events. Ceremonies are scheduled on the first Wednesday of the month between 5:30 and 7:00 pm to maximize attendance and exposure. We encourage group ribbon cuttings to increase participation. For example the Lockeford Bluffs had a grand opening for their entire strip mall, last summer resulting in excellent attendance and shared event expenses.

You need to:

• 1 Provide 45 days notice to the Clements Lockeford Chamber of Commerce. Contact _____________ at 209.727.3142 to set a date and get started.
• 2 Send invites to other local businesses.
• 3 Cover any advertising costs.
• 4 Provide refreshments for attendees the most successful events have good drink, food and entertainment.

The Lockeford Chamber of Commerce will:

• 1 Assist in the preparations and logistics before and during the even.
• 2 Notify the appropriate elected officials about the ceremony and address labels for all Clements Lockeford Chamber members.
• 3 Provide Chamber ribbon, ceremonial scissors and a photographer.
• 4 Include photos in our Chamber newsletter
