Cynthia L. Haynes - President
Cynthia Haynes is the voluntary CEO and President of the Clements Lockeford Chamber of Commerce. Her goals are to build our local Economic and Community Development through promoting Agri-Tourism; Create a Downtown Revitalization Action Plan; Sponsor a “Shop Local” program; Design a Business Directory; Sponsor and Generate Special Events and Initiate a Certified Farmers Market and continue to expand our “The Best of Country Escapes” visitor and tourism magazine.
Her professional background includes managing downtown revitalization projects, creating business associations and managing her own marketing & public relations business. She served as Director of Tourism for Placer County and the California Welcome Center.
Her community contributions include; Founder of the Lodi Area Veterans Plaza Foundation and Chairman of the Auburn Veterans Day Parade.
Cynthia is currently a Sr. Project Manager for Pacific Gas and Electric Company.
Timothy Fowler - Immediate Past President
Timothy Fowler is the immediate past president of the Chamber of Commerce and is currently the Chairman of the Governmental Relations Economic Development Committee. Timothy works with key local individuals, county, state agencies and politicians to address issues and concerns pertinent to the community throughout the area. Through the years Timothy has served on and chaired many local committees that have enhanced, promoted and bettered the area he has lived in.
Steve Borra - Vice President
Steve Borra is owner and winemaker for Borra Vineyards. Steve began making wine for his family in 1967, and the results were quite good. After nearly a decade of success, Steve formally started Borra Vineyards. The winery was bonded in 1975, producing Barbera and Carignane wines from their grapes in Lodi. In 1992, the Borra family purchased 200 acres of ideal vineyard property that runs along the north bank of the Mokelumne River. Now called the Gill Creek Ranch, the vineyard’s terroir produces some of the finest varietals that flourish in the Clements Hills area of the Lodi Appellation
Eileen Schamber - Treasurer
Eileen Schamber has been involved in the community for 17 years, working at the Richplate restaurant brought her to Lockeford. She purchased and managed Eileen’s Country Café for six years before selling and moving on to the real estate business. She currently holds a California broker’s licence and is the office manager at Nissen Realty in Lockeford. Eileen has been a chamber director for 10 years, past president and has chaired many committees’. Eileen also served on the Lockeford community services district board for four years.
Marla Kendrick - Secretary
Marla Kendrick was born and raised in Tracy, California, attending local schools and graduating from Tracy High SchoolMarla married John Kendrick and has four adult children and six grandchildren. Marla is co-owner with her husband John of Lockeford Auto Repair and Service, opening their business in August 2005 which makes services and repairs of all motor vehicles; even working on tractors, ATV’s and whatever has a motor.
Paul Wiemar - Director
Paul Wiemar has been part of the Clements Lockeford Chamber Board of Directors for the past eight years. Paul is our webmaster and recently demolished the previous web site that he inherited while on the board back in 2002.
Paul’s interests vary widely, he currently works as a freelance graphics and web designer with an emphasis in marketing for small business. Paul has been recognized over the past 25 years as a professional photographer. IT technical specialist, and professional pilot. Paul has recently taken up road cycling and enjoys spending time with his wife and grandchildren.
John Anderson - Director
John Anderson is a sales executive and a business development director for Diede Construction.
